DOT Training
Enviro-Safe provides training to help clients comply with the requirements set forth in the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR). Current DOT regulations require training for new employees within 90 days of hire, and retraining (every 3 years) for all employees who perform work functions covered by the HMR; 49 CFR Parts 171-180. Any employee who works in a shipping, receiving or material handling area, or who may be involved in loading, unloading, preparing or transporting hazardous materials, are required to complete training. Training includes hazardous materials classification, packaging requirements, loading, moving and unloading, Hazmat incidents and reporting, shipping names and papers, manifests, BOL's, labels, markings, placarding, etc. Training ranges from raising safety awareness to focusing on employee site-specific training. Sessions are scheduled based on our client’s needs. Training services include:
